About Us

Michelle Earnest is the owner and a practicing Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Anchors Away Therapy Services. Michelle has been a speech therapist for over 18 years and had the opportunity to live and work in many places around our great country, all the way from Hawaii to New York City! She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders at Florida State University and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University Central Florida. She started her career as a school based SLP and then slowly transitioned to home health and outpatient services. Michelle loves working with children and specializes in speech sound disorders and speech sound errors, especially the R sound! She has been married for 15 years to her husband Brian and they have a dog named Layla. Michelle is a Florida native who grew up in Sarasota and is excited to be back in the area! On the weekends, Michelle can be found at the beach, spending time with friends and family, reading a book, and cheering on the FSU Seminoles! Michelle looks forward to helping children and families in the area.
